An Embodied Astrology Weekend

​Daylesford (Victoria) - March 22/23

During this weekend we will embark on a journey with Venus who will be hidden from our view and supporting our under world of desire and gifts to be tended too. She is currently asking all of us “How do we behold our own beloved self and allow our gifts to shine”? With the support of our moon (who we are) and sun (who we are becoming) she is guiding us into the mystery of landing more authentically into ourselves. With conscious movement and the language of our personal song (your astrological map) we will explore this quest from Venus.  Ritual and story telling will also guide us along this personal and universal odyssey of discovery.

Astrology is an ancient and sacred science, firmly within the tradition of wisdom teachings. It is one of the languages of the cosmos and connecting with the sky stories can facilitate an alchemical life and bring us a richer understanding of our soul’s purpose. Astrology provides us with the knowing of universal rhythm and timing.
 
Conscious Movement is also an ancient art and soul language that brings us closer to our own inner wisdom, connecting us to our core resources. Movement navigates us past the thinking mind and brings alive the subconscious language of patterns, emotions and our core responses to life. As the galaxy keeps turning, different energies come into focus. If we can dance with the energy we can move more freely and feel more deeply our connection with the universal spirit.
Cost:

(morning and afternoon tea provided)
Lunch details to be confirmed - May have a small extra cost or we may do a community lunch where we all bring something to share

No previous knowledge or experience in astrology or movement is needed as this is experiential work and we will accommodate all levels of understanding and abilities

Kate-Marie holds a deep passion in being present with people as they listen, discover and learn the language of their own unique body and soul. With over 25 years of professional and lived experience, she serves across three key modalities that are uniquely woven together for each person or group. She uses her training and clinical experience as a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist for digesting emotions, Samvahan Vedic Massage for supporting the body to find harmony, balance and peace and Soul Motion® Conscious Movement Practice to enliven and integrate with creativity and curiosity. Kate-Marie's soul purpose is to be resourced from a rich internal life and to continue to embrace and explore in relationship with others.
About Marg
​
Marg’s passion for astrology was awakened in the early 70s. It provided a trajectory of enquiry that took her far from her lived experience and opened new vision and imaginings.  She has studied formally with Maurice Silver, Brian Clark, Glennys Lawton and Bernadette Brady over the intervening years and her passion has not ceased.  She also brings with her a rich background as a trained educator and working with young people and adults from diverse backgrounds.
 
Marg is passionate about listening and learning people’s stories and bringing them alive in multiple ways.  Her natural ability as a storyteller brings a richness to learning astrology that is unique, accessible and practical. Marg studied ancient, medieval and modern astrology and brings a fusion of these traditions to her courses along with the invitation of how to use ritual and ceremony in astrology. She gives personal chart readings and facilitates Astro Camps in the Central Australian desert along with other workshops / retreats around Australia and overseas.
